I believe the arts should be for everyone and accessible for all. I would also like my creative practice to have healing qualities for those who stumble across my art I would love to have my paintings in hospitals and other similar social environments as a way to generate pleasure and wellness to those living through challenging times in their lives.
Primarily my paintings in the last few years has taken on influence from Turkey and Islamic design but most recently I’ve been able to return to my deep rooted fascination and appreciation of the Latino culture. I’ve yet to visit Mexico, Chile and Brazil but I have visited the incredible city of Barcelona in my early twenties and I’ve always loved to take Latin dance classes since I was 16. I returned to dancing Salsa and Bachata for the first time in 6-7 years June 2023.
Summer 2023 I was feeling inspired and also produced some very vibrant and fresh colourful paintings and in 2025 I focused on generating paintings which are more site specific and relevant for the environment of my potential audience and location of the works.
Since then during 2025 after work I began taking Flamenco dance classes in Nottingham after a visit to Seville in October 2025. I have always had an admiration and fascination in Flamenco but never quite had the chance or courage to try it out for myself. I learn’t that to dance Flamenco you must be fully present, really listen to the music, feel it and dance it even more than with Salsa and Bachata, to name a few things it teaches one the importance of posture and the correct positioning of the arms. I enjoyed this experience until December 2025 grateful to my dance teacher and I might re-visit Flamenco later this year if I can find a larger class group. Until then this has provided further inspiration for further possible art works in the future.
UK | 2023 – 2025

This painting has previously been exhibited in the UK in Nottinghamshire at Hayloft Gallery.
The background of the painting has now been adapted to suit the needs of my audience.
The work was going to feature in the beautiful Turkish Mediterranean chic restaurant last year but sadly this didn’t go as planned due to a change of circumstances however this may become a possibility again later this year.
I collected the paintings before Christmas and have them safely back at home on the wall. The art work is available to buy directly from me. Please get in touch to discuss further if you or anyone you know might be interested.

Mindfulness Painting Workshop – via Zoom 2020 – 2021
Online fully remote project I launched during the Covid 19 Pandemic and lockdown.
This was a time when I lived and worked teaching English in a conservative and traditional Turkish province up a mountain called Bilecik at the University. As a side project I decided to create a series of online remote mindfulness workshops for friends and friends of friends and anyone else who might have been interested. (below is the link to the digital poster I designed with a different logo to my current logo – I have re-branded myself a few times since then).
